Prepared Hero × American Hiking Society Limited Edition Hero Defense Alarm

Safer adventures start here. The American Hiking Society Limited Edition Hero Defense Alarm is a compact personal safety alarm that helps you feel more confident whether you’re hiking, camping, traveling or exploring on your own. Every purchase helps support American Hiking Society’s mission to protect and preserve America’s trails.

Protection is one pull away

• 133dB emergency siren: pull the top pin to activate it instantly, and reinsert the pin to turn it off.
• Bright LED strobe: flashes with the siren to help disorient a potential threat and light up the area around you.
• Helps attract attention: the alarm and strobe work together when every second matters.

Built for the trail and everyday life

• Works without aiming: pull the pin from any angle, in the dark, with one hand.
• Rechargeable: about 1 hour on USB-C gives months of standby, with a low-battery indicator so it’s never a surprise.
• Clips where you can reach it: the oval carabiner keeps it on your keys, pack strap or hip belt.
• Shuts itself off after 5 minutes: a built-in timer silences accidental pulls and saves the battery.

Made for everyone who explores
